Ross Keller (Editor-in-Chief) is a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program. He works with Dr. Edward Gunther in the Gittlen Laboratories for Cancer Research where he studies how genetic mechanisms contribute to the development and progression of breast cancer. Ross enjoys writing, reading, and traveling.
Daniel Hass (Editor) is a PhD candidate in the Neuroscience Graduate Program working with Dr. Colin Barnstable.
Daniel enjoys reading, biking, painting, and cooking.
Jillian also enjoys running, reading, hiking, and going on adventures with her daughter and husband.
Caitlin enjoys reading, writing, and yoga.
Amanda White was a research technologist in the Department of Psychiatry, where she studied suicidality with Dr. Ahmad Hameed and childhood anxiety with Dr. Lidija Petrovic-Dovat. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience at University of Michigan.
Amanda enjoys poetry, football, and baking.
Emily Schleicher is a PhD student in the Biomedical Sciences graduate program. She is currently rotating in labs focusing on cancer genetics.
Emily enjoys dancing, watching hockey, hiking, painting, advocating for breast cancer awareness, and playing with her puppy.
Jessica Parascando is a Master of Public Health student studying adolescent sleep duration and variability for her capstone project. She also works in the psychiatry department studying addiction, sleep and emotion regulation.
Jessica also enjoys drinking tea and watching Game of Thrones (not multiple episodes before bed).
Jordan Gaines Lewis, PhD (former Editor-in-Chief) studied mechanisms underlying obesity and sleep apnea with Alexandros Vgontzas, MD. She is also a science writer whose work has appeared in NBC News Health, Scientific American, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and elsewhere. Jordan enjoys reading, running, and knitting in her free time.
Andrew Huhn, PhD (former editor) worked with Dr. Scott Bunce studying opiate addiction.
Andrew enjoys ping pong, ballroom dance, music, and reading.
Patrick Brown, MS received his Master’s in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program. He worked in Dr. Colin Barnstable’s lab where he studied the modulation of the transcription factor STAT3 in retinal development.
In his free time, Patrick enjoys exercising, wine tasting, and wine making.
In her spare time, Allie enjoys going to concerts, reading, craft brews, traveling, and spending time outside.
Lina enjoys ultimate Frisbee, Crossfit, and general nerdiness.
In her spare time, Kristy enjoys reading, running, and eating sushi.
Sadie enjoys music, crafting, board games, and snuggling with her cats.
