Sadie Dierschke is the Editor-in-Chief and a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Sciences Program. She works in Dr. Michael Dennis’ lab studying early biochemical changes in the retina that contribute to the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy.
Rebecca Fleeman is an associate editor and a 2nd year PhD student in the biomedical sciences program. She works in the lab of Dr. Elizabeth Proctor and is interested in understanding how modifiable risk factors such as diet interact with genetic risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease. She is also interested in the sex differences associated with Alzheimer’s disease and other aging diseases. She is excited to write and edit for the LTS blog!
